At this iconic waterfront spot in Key Biscayne, savory Latin American beignets are filled with the creamy combination of whipped mashed potatoes, salmon and sea bass. It’s a delicious one-bite dish from chef Jim Pastor. The buñuelo comes nestled atop saffron aïoli and topped with micro greens for a pop of color.

Every Monday through Friday from 4 to 7 p.m., the lounge at the Pelican offers some of the best deals in Miami with arguably the best view in South Florida. Sip $3 beers; $5 well drinks, including martinis, mojitos, and margaritas; $5 house wines; and $7 specialty drinks, such as the restaurant's strawberry mule, Pelican caipirinha, Rusty Spice, and Agave Sunset). "This might be the best new cocktail menu of of the summer. If gin and tonic is your thing, you’ll want to get your hands on Gin #1 through Gin #5 at the Rusty Pelican. The five mixed beverages play on various flavors. Think lemon and basil, but also passion fruit and tarragon. For a rustic taste with heat, go from the Agave Sunset, which is made with El Jimador Tequila an blue agave, and the Floridita is a must-try for drinkers with a sweet tooth: It’s made with Bacardie rum, fresh lime juice, sugar cane syrup, Angostura bitters, mint and egg."
